Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Tulman Eye Group the leading provider of vision care products and services in Lithia Springs.


Dr. Daniel Tulman

Dr. Daniel Tulman grew up in North Carolina and received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from NC State Univ. He received his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he was in the Honor Society and President of the Student Council.

He is a long-standing member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Tulman is ABO Board certified and has served in many elected or appointed offices including President of the Georgia Optometric Association, chairman of the GOA Board of Trustees, and Georgia Trustee for the Southern Council of Optometrists. He was one of the select eye doctors chosen to be on the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games Medical Team. Dr. Tulman was credentialed as a reviewer of vision article submission for Web MD. He was Georgia’s Optometrist of the Year and the 2018 G. Bearden “Excellence in Leadership Award” recipient. Most recently, Dr. Tulman was selected as one of Newsweek’s 2022 “Best Eye Doctors in America” and in 2023 Newsweek magazine listed Dr. Tulman again in the top one percent of optometrists in America.

Dr. Tulman enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, and his two grown sons, playing guitar, and volunteering time with a non-profit agency (Vision Rehabilitation Services) that helps the blind and visually impaired.


Dr. Mehrdad Saadat

Dr. Mehrdad E. Saadat attended The University of Georgia after graduating from South Cobb High School in Austell, GA. He returned to Atlanta from Athens early as he was selected to enroll in Emory University’s “House Staff Program”. After Graduation from Kennesaw University where he graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences, he received his Doctorate in Optometry from The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Saadat is trained in areas of ocular disease. He has a particular interest in what is commonly known as “Dry Eye” also known as “Dysfunctional Tear Syndrome” which includes dryness, itching, and watery eyes. Dr. Saadat even travels to educate other optometrists on different methods of diagnosing and treating Dysfunctional Tear Syndrome. He is also trained in specialty contact lenses including lenses for astigmatism, bifocal/multifocal, as well as keratoconus.

He is a 10 year member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. He has served as the Treasurer/Secretary, Vice president, and President of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. He also serves on the State Board of Trustees. He volunteers service to the South Cobb Lions club.

In his free time Dr. Saadat enjoys spending time with friends and family. His hobbies involve motorsports including autocross, track and drag racing as well as Formula-1 racing. He also enjoys camping, skiing and travel.


Dr. Bryan Truong

Dr. Bryan Truong was born and raised in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, a small fishing town in the Northwestern region of Canada. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Victoria before making the move south to complete his doctorate at The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

During his time in optometry school, Dr. Truong was an active member of the Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH) and Lion’s Club. As a member of both, he visited underserved villages in Nicaragua and Mexico during his summer breaks to provide free eye examinations and glasses. Dr. Truong completed his rotations at ophthalmology practices in Atlanta and Florida that specialized in refractive surgery and ocular disease. He has also received extensive training in pediatrics, specialty contact lens fittings for astigmatism, multi-focal, and keratoconus, and the pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.

He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and Greater Atlanta Optometric Association.

In his free time, Dr. Truong enjoys cooking, staying active, and is a hockey enthusiast to the fullest extent. He considers himself a “foodie” and loves trying out new places to eat around Atlanta.


Dr. Reema Gosalia

Dr. Reema Gosalia was born and raised in New York where she earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in Psychology. She moved on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Gosalia completed rotations in different specialties of optometry with an emphasis on ocular disease and participated in several vision studies, primarily with young children.

Dr. Gosalia has been delivering comprehensive eye care in the Atlanta area since 2014. She has worked in various optometric settings but enjoys private practice the most as it allows her to deliver exceptional eye care and build a strong relationship with each of her patients. In the course of her career, Dr. Gosalia has developed a special interest in dry eye disease, computer vision syndrome, specialty contact lenses and myopia management.

In her spare time, Dr. Gosalia loves spending quality time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Please be sure to let her know if you have a favorite!


Deborah Sanchez, Office Manager

Deborah Sanchez embarked on her journey in the optical field in 1985, starting her management career in the Southwest. Over the years, she has contributed her expertise to several optometry offices across the United States, gaining extensive knowledge in all aspects of the optical industry.

Since 2015, Deborah has held the position of Office Administrator at Tulman Eye Group, a distinguished establishment that is part of the renowned Vision Source network.

At Tulman Eye Group, Deborah takes pride in not only providing exceptional vision care to the community but also playing a vital role in saving sight and saving lives. Her steadfast commitment to providing exceptional patient care and her comprehensive knowledge of the optical field has solidified her reputation as a highly respected professional within the industry.

Deborah is an avid bibliophile and not only collects books but is a voracious reader as well. She enjoys cooking with her husband, traveling and baking treats for friends and family.
